Undergraduate

Bachelor/Undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Universitas Indonesia has “A” accreditation by National Accreditation Board for Higher Education of Republic of Indonesia (BAN-PT). This undergraduate full-time program has 144 credits to be completed by the student. Regularly this can be completed in 8 semesters.

Graduate profile: Bachelor of Engineering who is able to design information network and computer based system systematically using standard method in accordance with professional ethics.

Career prospects: The program graduates are needed in almost all fields of work, e.g. industry, services, banking and all fields requiring the application IT (Information technology). Some professional profiles that are suited to this program’s graduate are IT Manager, Project Manager, Program Manager, Programmer, System Analyst, Software Developer, Data Analyst, Product Specialist, Software Engineer, Computer Hardware Engineer, System Administrator, IT Support, etc.

  1. university general subjects: 18 credits (12.5%)
  2. basic engineering subjects: 16 credits (11.11%)
  3. basic electrical engineering subjects: 17 credits (11.8%)
  4. core computer engineering subjects: 76 credits (52.78%)
  5. elective subjects: 9 credits (6.25%), the courses are freely chosen by student
  6. special subject: 8 credits (5.56%), which consist of Internship (2 credits), Seminar (2 credits), Undergraduate Thesis (4 credits)

Although this program is not specifically designed as International program, teaching materials and student’s assignment submission are mostly in English and the lectures are sometimes conducted also in English. Further readings:
